I am a firm believer that Improvisation is every day, it is the way of life. We move, think, and do improvisationally. This is the process in which I use to devise performances in both solo and ensemble works.




As of 2026, Jones in based in Philadelphia, PA where she is mousing her way into the dance scene. Here she is expanding her knowledge of improvised forms and is taking classes from dance educators and peers.
She is maintains a small teaching presence through local organization Philly Dance Share, where she offers a score based creative movement class.
In 2025, Corinne debuted in Philly with her immersive performance "10-pointer" in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival as a featured Cannonball Artist.
Corinne has also been movementally involved with Muralist,
Meg Saligman and the Ministry of Awe.

During her collegiate career, Corinne performed in numerous works led by artists Selene Carter, Liz Shea, Evik Abbot-Main,
and Beatrice Capote.
Including playing the role of ‘Sara’ in legendary dancer and choreographer, Twayla Tharp’s, first re-staging of "Deuce Coupe.”

Seattle Festival of Dance and Improvisation
The week long intensive provided Corinne with the tools to listen to herself while improvising. To pay attention to her breath and honor how her body feels. She was able to take classes from groups G^2, Slow Danger, and Meg Foley.
2019
Katie Duck
FREAKATONI WITCHY WEEKENDS
The Improvisation Summer course Amsterdam solidified Corinne's devotion towards improvisation. She first learned the techniques of real-time performance and instant composition.
The teachings of Katie Duck have greatly inspired Corinne.
Trained in Modern dance; including counter-balance and release technique, Limón technique, and Graham. Practiced foundational elements of some traditional African Diaspora dance and Afro-Cuban techniques.





2021- Corinne founded her first Improvisation movement class.
With an emphasis on play and individual choices, participants were asked to explore new forms of movement. Sitting, walking, and poses eventually lead to patterns of dance. Corinne’s class is heavily inspired by the community in the room. Each participant is an influence to another and together they create the performance. Corinne uses improvisational scores and games to lead her instruction. Her space will always be a safe and sound experimental playground!
